Default Hi! Just starting my second week

Hello! This is my first time posting here. I just started doing WW Online last week and so far I am not doing the greatest. My first week's weight loss was great at 2.8 pounds but that will not continue if I continue to eat the way that I have been. I am considering changing my weigh in day but I don't know if that will truly help.

Anyhow, I really just wanted to say hi since this forum seems to be a great place for information, etc.

Welcome! Congrats on the first week's loss.

What do you mean by "that will not continue if I continue to eat the way that I have been" ? Did you not make good choices?

Just remember that this is a gradual progress. Your habits won't instantly change overnight, but every little bit will count. Just focus on staying within your points the first few weeks.

If you're concerned, you can always post a few days worth of what you've eaten to see if we have some tips!

I know when I started I figured I wouldn't lose because I was always eating, but I was eating good nutritious things and staying within my points, and WW works with that! Its how its supposed to be

Oh I just ate terribly. I know that a big part of the problem was that I didn't plan out my meals and that I didn't go grocery shopping to buy healthier options. That just makes it way to easy for me to grab junk food and when it comes to junk food, I am not done eating until it is gone.

I am going grocery shopping tonight to stock up on lower point snacks and then I am going to write out my plan for the week. I also will have better opportunities for activity this week as last week my daughter was having a lot of medical issues that required most of my time.

Thanks for the welcomes!!

Just wanted to say welcome to the boards!
One of the best things you can do for yourself is have go-to snacks all prepared and go-to meails. Planing for a whole week can be pretty daunting at first. One of the things I do is keep low point soups for in a hurry meals at home, I keep baggies in the fridge with already washed and cut up veggies to grab and go. I keep a sport bottle full of water and a bit of lemon or lime juice to grab. I also keep fruits out on the table so they are in my line of sight.

Hope these help you

hi thetiequeen, i just completed my first week on tuesday and put on 1.5 lbs! i am full of excuses, didnt do any grocery shopping (used up what was in the house), was completely obsessed with food and was retaining fluid!! when i stood on the scales it gave me the kick start needed!! i bought a weighing scale to portion out my food and stocked up on low propoint snacks. i write down EVERYTHING now even if its bad! its going to be a long road for me, but i'm trying to focus on 1lb at a time. I AM DETERMINED, THIS TIME I WILL SUCCEED!!! i love my junk food too, but this week its not in the house, if its not here i cant eat it. also my house is sooo clean these days as instead of snacking i mop the floor or clean the fridge. may sound strange but it seems to be working. i'm already a couple of lbs down but wont know for sure until my next weigh in day. you can do it!!!!!

Welcome to the board, and Congrats on the first weeks loss. I am very careful with the snacking....fruit is the go to food for me, and well that is about it...lol. I do have some WW snacks in the house, but if I start on anything else it is a slippery slop for me.
