I have a treadmill now, but I am considering selling it to get an elliptical. Would like some opinions on which one is more helpful with weightloss. Thanks!
They both are capable of getting your heart rate up. That said, I personally prefer elliptical over treadmill. Just not a fan of running. If I'm not mistaken the elliptical is lower impact and can work out both uppar AND lower body where the treadmill is all lower body.
I have both, and use both... I do find that I'm more inclined to stay on my elliptical for longer.. it's less 'pay attention' for me.. and I can zone out and concentrate on watching TV or a movie, and then I don't realize I've been on it for 45 mins. The treadmill I have to pay attention to and time tends to drag on, lol...
