Default Journaling Exercise - What would you call this?

I started with a new trainer and the workouts are very different from what I am used to. A good thing mind you, but I am totally stuck on how to track it in the Daily plate.

We did a lot of wall squats (wall sitting), running in place and butt kicks, push ups, bicycles, straight weight lifting, and lifting while doing other things (like wall squats), deadman runs and the like. No cardio machines at all.

The trainer forced us to be moving the whole time.

What would you call this? My first guess was calisthenics. Would that be right?

I'd call it a bootcamp type of workout.

Have fun with it!

I really wouldn't worry too much about the calorie count that a counter has because they are not accurate at all... Be happy you are burning lots and lots calories and are having fun too! Sounds like a great workout!

Don't quote me but I think this would fall under circuit training. Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I had my second workout last night with the trainer. And I was alone this time.

Boy did he work me hard. Changing clothes when I got home was a chore, I was so tired.
