I think there are to many times along peoples weight loss journey that we can get discouraged and start to focus on the negative. Weather it be the number on the scale not falling as fast as we would like, not getting into those skinny jeans yet, or just looking in the mirror and focusing on that one part of your body that just does not look the way we want it to. STOP IT!!!!!!
What I want everyone to do is stand in front of your mirror, take a good long look at yourself and truly see all the progress you have made. What is the one (or more) feature you look at and say DAMN I look good, my __________ looks awesome!
For me it's my legs and butt... I was looking at myself and really feeling great about my progress and saying WOW my legs are really nice, then went and grabbed some of my heals and admired my legs and butt for awhile LOL. Please feel free to share what it is you see here in a reply to my post but don't feel you have to. I just really want you to take that minute to admire your hard work and admire how beautiful you are no matter what your weight.
I have had a new perspective on life the past few months, the negative has left the building. We are the only ones that can help ourselves to succeed and we are the only ones who can cause ourselves to fail. I take full accountability for the unhealthy life style I have lived for a very long time and decided to change and use all the negative toxic energy I used to have and focus it into a new healthy direction. Remind yourself everyday that you are worth it, you deserve to be healthy, fit and happy!!!!

Let me tell you, Julie. There is so much about myself I like, I am not sure I can pick one feature.
I am drop dead gorgeous.
I have wild and unpredictable hair.
I have big beautiful lips and giant anime eyes.
My legs are not only shapely but strong too.
I could go on for days...
Oh and recently I discovered that I have a collarbone!

It's funny... my legs have always been one of the worst parts of my body, and they still are... but my butt looks pretty d*mn good lately in my jeans. Nicely rounded, and nice and high.
My upper body has gotten much, much leaner recently (wish some of that fat would come off my legs instead!!!), and I love looking at my shoulders and upper back in the mirror lately.
My boobs used to be my best feature. Not so much anymore!

There's honestly not a lot to brag about when it comes to my body, but I am pleased with how my face is turning out. I may not be gorgeous, but I am uncovering a fairly pretty face that looks younger than it did 5 years ago.
Great post. I love the positive posts that make you reflect on your progress. I have been really happy with my arms, wrists and hands lately. I am sort of tall so they have become long and graceful looking since I lost weight. I used to think I had stumpy hands but that was the excess weight!
Aw, thank you guys! That somehow turned out to be an especially flattering photo. But I know I'm feeling a lot better than I did a few years back . . .
^I'm somewhere near my highest there. I'd still like to lose another 100 pounds and have been working hard on breaking that second half.
i kind of love that i have 3 dimples on one side of my mouth, and 2 on the other when i smile. i really hope that doesn't go away as my face thins out. i doubt i will lose *all* of them though, as both of my parents have dimples both at high and low weights.
also my hair, because it straightens fairly easily, but it's naturally curly and only takes a little mousse to convince it it wants to stay that way all day.

Awe this thread made me smile. Sometimes we do forget to just look in the mirror, and admire all our hard work =D
Elladorine- You have such beautiful baby doll eyes =D. You look beautiful
konfyoozed- I don't think you'll loose the dimples =D Mine became more apparent as I've lost more weight. You have a gorgeous smile and great features
