Default NSV... today I'm ditching my 'security blanket'.

Every single day since I could fit into an XL... I've worn a shapewear tank under my clothes.

Today, I'm not. It feels weird. I keep reminding myself that I'm OK. Nothing is hanging out, nothing is buldging... this is OK!

It's warm outside, there is no reason to torture myself.

*deep breath* time to head out into the world.

YAY! You know whats funny, when I see people of all sizes in any outfit I don't think "ew they should never go out with that on" and yet, i apply this rule to myself.

Oooo I know how tough that is! Congrats!! When it was hot I had to go for it and I'm glad I did.

Now it's cold again though, so I kind of need it.

Congratulations! It's great that you don't have to feel like wearing a shaper is a requirement under your clothing. Like another poster said, I just bought a shaper camisole and I just graduated out of XL shirts to L! I never even wore one when I was XL or larger. Somehow, I am more concerned about the bulges now - weird.

However, I agree that I am also not going to wear it when it is boiling hot, but it does give me a nicer bulge free look, so I will wear it as long as the weather stays cool.

good for you! i recently just started doing that, too. i can't seem to find the right one anyway. one i have keeps rolling up and gathering in the smallest part of my waist, and the other one isn't tight enough and is this weird two-layer thing that i think just adds bulk anyway.

so i figured i might as well just go without it, since they annoy me so much.
