Default Fruits

I am going to start on Phase 2 on Monday fo I need to do some
grocery shopping this week-end. In the book it says no canned
fruit with juice. Does this include the fruit packed in its own juice
with no sugar added? If so, what a bummer. Fresh fruit is
expensive if out of season. Living in central Illinois, we are
limited on the growing season for fresh fruit.!!!!!!! I was hoping
to get some canned as weel as fresh. Any suggestions???

Unless you are planning on drinking the juice you should be fine! It is just that your body easily metabolizes juice and that stimulates insulin production...or something like that!

Because fruit contains fiber it doesn't metabolize as quickly..which is good! The closer you can get to a food's original state, the better. Good luck!
