Welcome!

Don't worry about it, this happens sometimes. I did the same thing. I lost 30 pounds and then I put on 50, fail! You just learn from your mistakes and try again!

Default Me too!

I'm from Alabama too--just joined 3FC yesterday. I just gained 34 lbs. back as well! It is so easy and fast to put back on, it just creeps up on you--and it is always a little harder to get off, but just take it day by day. The way I see it, I am just going to aim for 2-3 lbs. a week because it is a realistic goal. I lost 4 pounds this week, and I hope to be back where I was in a couple months. Just take it a pound at a time and don't get discouraged.
I know EXACTLY how you feel!

You've done it before, keep up the lower cals and exercise. You can do it again. Good luck.

If you did it once, you can do it again!

I lost 80lbs and have regained 20lbs in the last year, thrusting myself from a "normal" weight category to "overweight" again. It is a bummer relosing weight that you once shed in the past, but such is life. Use this as a means to learn about our mistakes and examine why we regained the weight.

Use the tools available to get back on track and into a healthy lifestyle again!

I lost 20lbs just about to the highest range of my normal BMI then came surgery and the holidays---and I was back to where I started and then some. It was so frustrating. I felt so guilty for letting all my hardwork go nowhere. Now, I am just at that point where I seriously want my old body back, for the sake of my health

Just hang in there and keep on exercising and counting calories.

You can do it!!!!

It seems to me like I lose 20-30lbs each spring and gain in back each winter....ahhhh. I´m trying to make this year my last. Girl, it is so hard to maintain, becasue we think ¨oh, just this one time won´t hurt¨but it does.

You can do it. We are here to help you!

I have no doubt you can do it, heck you have done it before. I have lost and gained the same 15 pounds for the past couple years...

I worry about maintenance, it's clear loosing the weight isn't the hardest part... the hardest is keeping it off.

Currently I am enrolled in a local biggest loser contest... and I know that I could get in my "zone" and drop a decent number... but making life long changes... man it's hard. But we gotta keep trying, right?

Hang in there, dody! Small practical steps every day and you'll be dropping pounds before you know it.

If you haven't started to keep track of your calories and food consumption and exercise, get started there. You can modify your routine as you discover what does and doesn't work for you.

30 pounds is a manageable amount, but it won't happen overnight. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

I am also trying to lose 30 pounds. Feel free to add me as a buddy.
