So, I started this whole thing a year ago yesterday. At that point, I was steadfastly avoiding cameras. I didn't step in front of one until I was two and a half months in. Still, since it's been a year and 129 pounds, I felt like posting my first ever pics.
The first one is a picture of my family at my sister's graduation--mid-May of last year. I'm the one on the far right. I don't really know what I weighed at that point, since I hadn't started regularly weighing yet. Somewhere between 346 and 325. We'll call it 338. I started at 360.
The second is me today. I apologize for the poor image quality, as it was taken with my phone. I originally took these to go with my blog update (linked below), but I decided against including them due to the latter's crappiness. I figured I might as well post them somewhere...
Thanks! You can still see where I need to do some work, though. My arms look the same--it's just that, while they were round before, they're now a very thin oval. Droopy skin for the win, but it's still better for me than the alternative.
Anastasia, I've just been calorie counting. 1200 a day, coupled with exercise. Anything more complex than that just freaks me out .
Gabe, very well done. And I looked generally like that at 230, I'm 5'7" too.
So awesome, so much in a year. Can't say I'm thinking I should drop my cals to 1200, LOL... I'm at 1600 now and losing about a lb a week. Would be nice to be at 2 a week, lol.
But none the less, GREAT WORK. And I totally heart your blog/writing style.
