Angry New Member Hello

Hello to everyone here!

I am brand new to South Beach Diet & new to this message board. I have been to this site many times over the last year. I was doing Weight Watchers, lost about 17lbs right before Christmas, gained back about 12 lbs of it. Rejoined WW in March and lost about 7 pounds. Lost interest, and gained back all of the 17 pounds I had lost, plus 3 more pounds.

So, here I am. Hoping to lose the weight this way. I want to lose around 50 lbs. I should probably lose alot more than that, but I am setting an attainable goal.

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone here.

I also have a couple ?'s about South Beach rules.

1. Are green olives ok or not?
2. What about fat-free 1/2 and 1/2?

Thanks for any help!!

Nikki

Welcome to The Beach, Nikki. It's a very pelasant place. Be sure to join us on the Daily Thread which is usually started by Lady Windsong, Chief Cheerleader.

I have eaten both green and black olives on Phase I. I think their carb count is very low.
Fat free half and half should be OK. How the heck do they make half and half fat-free? Probably the same way as fat-free sour cream!

Default Welcome!

Welcome, Luv! You have found a great place to get support and encouragement. And as Lady said, the "D" word is not allowed! Just kidding...but most of us try and think of this as a WOE, or Way Of Eating....working towards healthier lifestyles.

But no matter what you call it, this can work if you put in the effort to make changes!

Jump in, the water's fine!
