Question Tortilla Question

Hey there SBers. I just started the SBD on Friday and so far, so good. My husband is doing it with me. Was wondering if any of you have any insight on tortillas on this diet, at least in phase two?

Thanks and looking forward to chatting with y'all more.

Look for the whole wheat ones, and make sure they don't have any hydrogenated oils in them. I've found that it's usually easier to find good whole-grain pitas and split them to use for tortillas.

Default Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I'm so used to Weight Watchers that it's hard for me to adjust to a diet that doesn't have a complete food list. Know of any helpful websites regarding GI? It'd be nice if there was a chart or calculator out there somewhere.

Thanks again, S

Here's the URL for a GI chart. There are lots more out there but this is the one I use most.

I checked out the URL, thanks. It'll be very helpful, I'm sure. My doing this diet has become an epidemic to my family and work buds, so I'll be passing this info. along.

Good luck in your transition to Phase II, and Congrats on your ONEderland acheivement!
