Hi all, still waiting for the book to come and was wondering how much ricotta I can eat in a day...I like it plain with just a splenda in it, but am not sure about how much I can have in a day. thanks,

someone on another board told me they think it's 1/2 cup also...sadly I asked after I ate it during the day, 1 cup two times ...yes I had 2 cups....I will check in the book when I get it and limit myself to 1/2 cup a day till then...(I have always loved ricotta)

I'm addicted too! I limit myself to 1/2 cup a day. Calories do count but it is such a wonderful treat! I add egg white to it and zap it in my little food processor. I plan to have it over berries in Phase II.
Years ago, on another eating plan, I used to put 2 TBS wheat germ in a custard cup, top with ricotta and top with crushed pineapple, microwave and eat warm...oh my gosh, how yummy...Maybe that will fit into phase 2 or 3...I don't have the book yet, so I don't know, but it sure was good (ate it for breakfast back then...)
