I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I just wanted to share my experiences. My mom called me the other day telling me that on Dr. Oz's show (I never watch, but she is religious about it) he had 5 different diet plans for 5 different body types and if you stick to one plan for 5 days you can change your type. I have never fit into a particular type. When I was a kid I was in every sport and did weight lifting so I have always been especially self conscious about my arms that got huge with muscle quickly, and flabby after the activity stopped. Yet, I do not have giant hooters. lol So I don't really fit into the big upper-body category, as much as I wish I did. I went on the site and decided to try his big stomach plan. So I have been making that egg/swiss cheese/wheat English muffin/avocado/tomato/olive oil sandwich and taking the CLA pills (found them at Walgreens) for 2 days. I also have been eating extremely healthy the rest of those two days and working out only a tiny bit. (Chasing a toddler, and walking yesterday) I cannot tell you the change in my stomach already. And, I have lost two pounds in two days when I had otherwise hit a plateau. Holding my breath and hoping this continues!!

Reason: grammatical errors!
It is a Conjugated Linoleic Acid supplement. If you google it, it's everywhere and people are raving about it. I like it because I don't like stimulants, not even coffee and it isn't a stimulant. I'm not sure how it works, but in layman's terms, I think it turns off the fat storers in your stomach. That kind of concerned me as to where fat is going because as I said before, I am self conscious about my arms. But all I know is that my pants are noticeably looser and seeing any change after a long plateau is nice

Haven't had a chance to read through it yet. I will sometime today though. Sounds interesting!
Edit: Just read it, I would be the fat belly so breakfast for me. Sounds yummy though so won't be tough to follow for 5 days. I just need to get the CLA supplements. How does it work though, do you follow for 5 days/week and then start again the next week or...?

I just bought the CLA supplement at Whole Foods. I have a doctors appointment in two weeks, so I will not start taking it until after I see my doc. Has anyone else tried it?
I thought Dr. Oz was a cardiologist...why is he telling people to eat eggs and swiss cheese???
I have cardiac problems and do BETTER on a low carb diet with tons of eggs and cheese in moderation. Go figure. I think the eggs raising cholestrol thing is up for debate.

Really, wow. thanks for letting me know. Glad you're doing well
I guess so. For the belly, you need to replace your breakfast with the egg muffin and take CLA supplements. I just found them for $22 (sale) at the drug store. I'll keep track of my inches and weight and see how much it really works.

I'm going on my lunch break to see if they have some.
Yeah, it was a great buy. There's 90 in the bottle too. But the only thing, it says in the back 1-2 at each meal 3 times a day. I'm guessing you should take them at all meals in order to get the full benefit? I'm going to do 1 supplement 3 times a day. If it works, I may try 2 at each meal the week after. I want to lose this belly fat BADLY!! I'm going to exercise 5x week (walking with dog).
