Default activity points vs weeklies

What do folks think? where should we draw extra points from . Im at 26 daily, and this is rarely filling for me, and I draw from my weekly points periodically through the week as needed. So far I have not used all of my weeklies.
I have never drawn from my activity points though.
I have been reading that some people draw from activity points first.

Now I get that points are points, in general. But if we draw from activity points first, we have to earn them right? (can only be a good thing). On the other hand, we may get a lot of activity points and earn more than the weeklies. I worry I will overeat doing that.

Do people think it matters?
Sorry, this has probably been discussed before, just curious what others do and their success with that.

I have actually gone back and forth on this.

Here is the issue with doing AP first. Basically, people are terrible at estimating activity points. There is a real tendency to overestimate the level of exertion and to overestimate how long you hare working at that level. So, the risk by eating AP is that you really didn't earn as many AP as you thought you did.

On the other hand, one reason I liked using AP first is that it encouraged me to actually get activity and part of the reason for AP is that when you do exercise and are active you are more hungry and your body needs more fuel so it makes sense to tie what you eat to your activity.

That said == I've found that for me it works fine to do it either way (I do count all activity as low intensity regardless of actual intensity to I don't feel I overestimate AP).

This is only my second week on WW and i am only drawing from my weeklys. even though i rank up over 40 activity points a week i feel if i use them then i am undoing the hard work i have done in earning them plus for me its just guessing how fast i was walking etc as i walk about 1.5 - 32 hours a day with the dog in one walk
