Default Exercise Regimen

What is your exercise regimen and how often to you do it? Once a day? 5 days a week? Every other day?

Do you change it up or do the same thing each time?

Do you think there is such a thing as too much exercise?

I started out by walking 1 mile daily, I am now walking 2 miles daily (have only missed one day since 12/26/2012).

I bought a stationary bike January 31st and have been doing 4 miles on it daily since that date.

I never think you can exercise to much but man your body can feel like you have some days!

I change it up a bit. I like classes at the gym and do them 5 or 6 days a week. Cardio, strength, abs, body conditioning. When I was losing, I went almost every day. Now I usually take Tuesday and Friday off, but do 2 classes on Wednesday because that's when they're offered and I like both of them.

Unless you are in actual pain, I'd say you can't get too much exercise. Just listen to your body and take care of it. It sounds like you're doing a great job so far. Keep it up.

i think what your doing sounds great!! & is there a such thing as exercising too much? I dunno I dont think so bc the people on the biggest loser workout like 7-8 hours a day and some of these actors that get ready for roles in movies like Hugh Jackman in Wolverine or Ryan Reynolds for Green Lantern, I heard they exercised every 2 hours they were awake so like 7 hours a day.

I think as long as your getting enough food and nutrients your ok

I started the turbofire 20 week challenge in Monday and its between 15-60 mins per workout. I do once every single morning

Lift weights 4x/week
cardio HIIT 4x/week
Cardio LISS 7x/week

Per day is 2 hrs. I change my routine whenever i feel bored of the same excersices. I change days, or reps, or intensity ...

And yes, you can overtrain if doing to much excersice and not having enough rest. The muscles, body and more important the Central Nervous System, need enough time to rest and recover.

Of course that will also depend on the intensity of the workout.

i usually do an hour or so of walking in the afternoon and an hour of elliptical in the evening. 3 days a week with both, one day each with one, and then 2 days of rest. typically monday thru thursday with the elliptical, tuesday thru friday with the walking, and weekends are usually too busy to fit a traditional workout in.

LISS cardio = Low Intensity Steady State cardio

Basically, is long duration cardio at a steady pace, like 40mins in the stationary bike, for example. Is the normal cardio we've been doing the whole life.

I was doing 6 days a week but I wore myself out and now I'm on 4.

2 hours a day, heavy lifting, sprints, etc... I change it up .
