My bodymedia fit core will arrive today! I am so excited. I'm going to use that AND and heart rate monitor for helping me figure out better what my body is doing.

Can't wait! Saw a lady at the gym yesterday with a body media fit and I was asking her tons of questions.

And yay one new thread.l. I suggested it, but didn't want to take the initiative to start it!

I took the initiative and it seemed like no one wanted to join me

Tomorrow will be my first weigh in after religiously tracking everything in my BB account in addition to my points counting. I've had a 500 calorie or more deficit every day, so I'm hoping for at least a pound. I noticed on some of the other posts people were looking for a 1000 calorie a day deficit, which I could never pull off unless I quit my job and started running across the country Forrest Gump style.

Good luck setting up your new gadget tonight, trust me it's addicting.

It's here! Now to charge it and to set up my online membership. I'm glad I got the core. I like the smaller size... Didn't tell dh I was getting it. I will be interested to hear his reaction. It was using my birthday funds, so money isn't the issue, but he's a "why would you want that?" kind of guy. He will probably say, " you have been doing fine on your own, why do you need that?"

All charged up, account made, every synced and it's on my arm. Yay!

It says if I'm really good, I can get to goal by April 21st. That would be awesome as that is a day before my son's 7 birthday and he was a big reason I started taking better care of myself in the first place!

I think mine is disappointed in me. I received mine for Christmas and gung ho as I am set it up that night and began my 1 year free subscription.
Were I to have followed their eating plan I should be at goal by the end of this month. I very rarely reach my burn target each day but still manage to have a healthy deficit because I don't reach my calorie target either.

The numbers are addicting, and I've only buckled down to using them as intended (still not the meal plan) over the last week. I think having the watch that displays my burn throughout the day was motivational.

Do you guys have the BodyBugg or the BodyMedia fit?

I want to reward myself when I reach 199 and this seemed like a good idea.
I'm just unsure which one to get, since both are around the same price.

Opinions?

I got the bodymedia fit core. I opted to get this one because it's less buggy (couldn't resist). Monthly fees are less and it also charts sleep.

I got the Core with the Display. Didn't want to get the Link because reviews are sketchier on that one with syncing properly and unlike the display, it doesn't stay synced.

Just got it today though, so I'm not an endorser yet! LOL

I have the bugg it was a Christmas gift and came with a free year of the online program which includes a meal plan I don't use. I had to buy the display separately but I'm glad I did I find it very motivational.
I've only been really been utilizing the program properly over the last week since I do weight watchers as well it seemed a little labor intensive but once I got going it gave me the ability to log things by saying I ate the same as... Which is far easier. I will know at my weigh in tomorrow if my diligence this week paid off.

You knoww... I think part of the problem with this thread dying out before is that it is listed under diet plans. Is this a diet plan? I tried searching for this thread earliere today and couldnt find it until I searched under bodybugg.

Wonder why the old thread, and so this one too, by following the same pattern, was put here? Or maybe I'm the only person who feels its an odd place for it.

I think it's more a support group.

I have had my bug for over three years. I love it and have thought about switching to the Bodymedia but I never do. I just renewed my subscription for another year so I guess I am staying with it, maybe next year I will switch. Actually I am paying a little over $4.00 a month for my subscription so it is a little cheaper than the Bodymedia.

Berry - Maybe it's considered a plan because it's basically a calories in calories out philosophy? Just a guess on my part.

Weighed in today and guess what? Lost 1.8!
I finally feel like I'm on track again. I am so motivated by the number on my arm and now the number on the scale. Hooray!

I'd like to be part of your group. I've had my bodybugg for 6 months and have lost 30 pounds. Ireally love using it to track my daily exercise. I shoot for a deficit of over 700 each day - I have to, to even lose one pound a week.

What I don't like about the Bugg is that after wearing it continuously for 6 months, i have a large dent in my left bicep. You can literally see it when I flex. So for the last 2 days I have been wearing it on my right arm, and don't really see any difference in how it reads. I read online that some people place them in their bra - I tried that too, but seemed like the readings were much lower.
