I'm saying 0 for this week. I did not weigh in today. I had a lousy last 4 days. But back at it today. I'm sure I will have a loss to report for next week. That is going to be the real key for me. Get back at it after a bad day or days. I'm feeling strong again and know I am going to do this.

Wow! Everyone is doing so well.
KittyMilk, congrats on riding out your plateau and losing 2 lbs.--that's wonderful! Beverly, only 17 more pounds to go. I'm so excited for you!
Looking forward to my Friday weigh-in. I'm hoping to be a loser like you guys!

I'm down to 242 even this week. That's 5.4 down from last week. Woo-hoo!
So here's my funny side story to tonight's weigh in...I get on the scale, and couldn't believe what it said. And my leader's standing there, and we're chitchatting a bit. When I realized she hadn't written my new weight down yet, I was all...write it down, before it changes. I'd been standing on the scale plenty long for it to quit changing, but was still all worried it would change it's mind.
So I made up for last week's 2.4 gain, and lost 3 more. I might make my Labor Day goal yet.

Inspiring dedication and perseverance!
I'm discouraged... weight didn't change yesterday (my official weigh-in day, and the day I get my "graph" weight...)... BUT...
I keep reading that muscle weighs (even) more than fat... and I have still been working out and my shorts/blouses/undies are getting looser. So far I lost 18 inches... but wonder when the scales will start going down again. (whine whine whine)
One woman said she stayed at goal weight, kept exercising and went from a size 10 to size 4... Can you imagine going down 6 sizes (0r three, depending on how you count!), and not having the scale move? Oooooh, that's diabolical.

That's why it's SO important to watch and measure things other than just weight, PainterWoman. We're taught that we're a number on a scale, but there's so much more to it than that. It's how we feel, and how we fit in our clothes and chairs, and how easily we can do things, and all that wonderful stuff. So, yes, watch the scale if you want to, but also keep a list of all the other changes that are happening in your body. Write them down with a date, just like you do your weight. Then, when you hit a plateau like this, you can look back and see that you're still making progress.
Eventually the scale will catch up with the rest. /grin
