Default Okay to eat 1/2 eggs and 1/2 drink?

This morning was my husband's and my first day on IP (well, IP alternatives). Instead of just eating scrambled egg whites like we had planned, we split a serving of egg whites and a serving of PureProtein RTD. Is this okay to do? I figured it was, but wondering what others do.

I was told our bodies need the cholesterol from the eggs and I should eat the whole egg. At 7 weeks my cholesterol dropped by 100 points...I eat tons of scrambled eggs (not just the whites)...but sorry I can't answer your initial question. Maggie

Sure, if each serving was about 2.5 egg whites. Total should probably = 18 g protein. AND THE VERY BEST OF LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU. It must be so nice doing this together.

What do you do to make them exciting? Typically I add hot sauce and onion powder...and I now eat 4 scrambled instead of 3 due to my "muscle" loss... It's getting hard without my beloved cheese!!!

I sometimes add cheese... since I dont ever have my 1oz of milk. Then I top it off with some salsa.

Hmmm. I have a really strict coach. I asked if I could sub cheese for the milk because I don't use it and she said no. I was thinking last night of making a homemade salsa for my eggs...I'll have to do that sooner than later!!! TY!

I love Salsa on my eggs. I also found an IP friendly "Land o Lakes" Sharp Cheddar sprinkle (powder) that is 0/0/0, it adds a true cheese flavor, have to say it caught me by surprise. I also add garlic, mushrooms, red/green/orange/yellow peppers and of course, a little Texas Pete!

Wuv said that you can add the vegetarian cheese, found with the veggies. I have not tried it yet.

Its with the spices, there is cheddar cheese, sour cream and onions and a few others. Look it up on the Land o lakes site so you can see what you are looking for

I noticed on the Land o Lakes site the serving size for the Cheddar Sprinkles is only 1/2 teaspoon. That really isn't very much. I just wonder if they made the serving size that small because if they had made it even 1 teaspoon it would have not allowed them to show calories/fat/carbs etc as 0?

The Molly Mcbutter Cheese Sprinkles has 1 teaspoon as the serving size and then shows 5 calories and 1g carb.

Just makes a person think...
