36-Day "Honesty" thread
This holiday season, I have already gained and I do NOT want to gain anymore. To help me, I am proposing something that has worked for me before - a thread where I post my exercise and my calories each day. Anyone want to join me? Thirty-six days will take us up to New Year's Day.
I suggest that we use any measurement we want - for exercise, time or distance; for food, calories or points or servings or food.
I also suggest that we each post one message and Edit it each day with our new stats. This will not really be a discussion thread, just a kind of Diary-like post where we strive to be honest with ourselves. No particular goal, no challenge, just a way to keep us from under-doing our exercise and over-doing our eating.
Anyone want to join me?
Lynn

I would love to
I'm going home for the Christmas Holidays and have been back for a year. I would really like to lose another 8 pounds between now and then. 10 would even be better. 8 pounds would make a total of 40. That's my Goal.
Game on....

Hi Chickadee,
When I started exercising (at 185 lbs), I did 10 miles on the treadmill at 2 mph.
We all have to start somewhere.
Congratulations on making the commitment to being honest with yourself. Glad to have you aboard.

Currently on the Ideal Protein program and it has helped me alot. During the Thanksgiving holiday I ate 1/2 cup of rice, spoonful of sweet potato casserole and a thin slice of carrot cake and didn't gain weight, hooray! I will not press my luck during the Christmas. Will try to stay on track given this challenge.

WOW bike at 7!!!!! I am impressed! I do the bike at 0. It is not much for calorie burning, but it loosens up my bad knee so I can push it on the treadmill.

Lynn, thanks for starting this thread, I have to tell you when I got home from work today, I felt like doing nothing, except worrying about what I was going to have for dinner. Then I thought, oh no, I have to post something on the Honesty Sticky, so I looked at the dogs and said how about a walk and that was it, out the door we went, and it was chilly out but by the time we got back it felt good. thanks
