Vacation IS over! And work just hit me like a ton of bricks when I got back. Thank you for reaching out. The holiday was really fun, I did go very off plan and for longer than a day... I exercised everyday and felt my food choices were halfway decent. I've been eating on program again since Sunday. But I am doing that scale denial thing. I haven't looked to see what the damage was. I should, shouldn't I? This is my old pattern, avoiding news for fear it may be bad. I think I was hoping by weigh-in day I would be back down, but of course I see how dumb this is. I will get on the scales tomorrow. I will post, too!

hi, Jen, I've sent private messages before but we have all missed Camaswa and wanted to call her out on the board :-) pressure her to come out of hiding.. LOL!!

Hey, Camaswa! i figured i'd get your attention by a Shout Out! i did the same thing after Thanksgiving - waited at least two to three days to get on the scale and that's very unusual for me. i did step up the activity and made better choices than usual on holiday... actually food wise, did pretty well, but when i get w/ the In laws, there's a abundance of red wine -the Center keeps calling me so may drop in tomorrow or wait till friday! (more likely) :-)

I got on my scales just now- .2 lighter than before thanksgiving! Ha. That suggests I either maintained or knocked it back off Sun - Tuesday. Yea! The moral of the story is that it's better to face the scale than not - the anxiety of what I might see there is usually worse than the actual number!

just got back from my weigh in and lost .5 lb. i was so thrilled and i too was avoiding the scale! i decided to go in today and not wait till friday because if it was high, i'd go again Friday! :-) Good job on the loss, we had fun and still lost weight!!! i swear Thanksgiving night after the wine, etc. i felt like i had gained 10 lbs!!!
