Default Help with Nausea?

I have been experience nausea off and on with this diet. I thought maybe it might be ketosis....but today it's worse than last time. I have checked all my food and I don't think it's a virus. I really don't feel like eating at all. I would force it down if I thought it would help. I have been drinking tea and lots of water. I've slowed the water intake a bit b/c it is sure not helping with the symptoms. Any other advice?

Try adding lemon to your water. When I was pregnant, I had HORRIBLE nausea for 6 months. I would use lemon a lot to calm it.

Maybe you should talk with your coach and or doctor as maybe you are having some type of reaction to some of the ingredients in the packets?

Good luck...I know that is an awful feeling. On the bright side, it looks like your losses are going GREAT!!! Way to go, you!!!

Are you taking your supplements on an empty stomach?

Another thought...have you been eating any red meat or sticking with chicken/fish? I was feeling a bit icky on Saturday and when I looked back, I hadn't had red meat in like 3 weeks. I think it was throwing my iron off a bit. I had a steak for dinner and was fine after that.

Wuv, I had the nausea before I took the supplements. Even water seemed to not sit well.

Scpnme: I will try the lemon. and I could very well be low in iron. I never thought of that.

Yes, I did take them on an empty stomach a few times and noticed a sick feeling...but it went away after 20 mins or so. Probably after I digested them a bit. Today, I didn't take the supplements yet... I can't even think about my salad or my veggies. I'm trying some ginger tea with lemon...and a bar. Hopefully that works. I'll have some steak tonite too like Scpnme suggests.

You might consider being tested for a soy allergy, especially if you have other allergies or food sensitivities.

Soy allergy? That's something that didn't even cross my mind. I'll keep a close eye on that. Thanks Linden!

I hope you get to th bottom of that problem. I was going to suggest the ginger tea. If it keeps up you show concider the soy issue.
I wanted to tell you that I was in the Costco on the Yellowhead and 149th St today and they have moved the Premier Protein drinks from the pharmacy section to where they have the protein bars, near the candy.
