Default Finished my first 5K in 3 years!!

So excited to report that on this past Saturday, Oct. 8th, I raced in the "Undy 5000" colon Cancer 5K in honor of my Father who died in April of last year. It was an emotionally wonderful day and I completed the race in 35minutes!

Can't wait for the next one! Next year, my sisters and I are forming a team...I even have my mind set on a half marathon next may! Whooo hooo!

Way to go, MsTiffneyLamont!!! That is excellent time, too. And what a worthy cause. My MIL also lost her fight to colon cancer several years ago. I pray for the day this horrible disease can be obliterated.

Great job! My mom is a survivor, and I agree with sandcar150. 35 minutes is a good time, too!
