Good morning Ladies

Woke up early, than I usually do. The sun is shinning but the temps are cold 57,after out heat wave & humidity.

Went to the movies yesterday, my friends next door neighbor from NY came with us. Didn't get to speak to her that much as she didn't want to go to supper with us. Found out from Mary later she not really friendly, and doesn't get along with the other neighbors.

JOJO-Thanks for the pages and : coming your way for your Losing more this week.

Have a great day

Good Morning Chicks! I'm back mostly on plan but have a very busy week coming up. Finalizing stuff, Doctors, and other errands. Hope you all have a great week. I will certainly pop in when I can.

Also got lots done ...Finally jumped all the hoops to get chimney insurance $ to bank account. Now I have to decide between a woodstove or gas logs. leaning towards gas logs but then there are different types.

Leaving for the beach tomorrow til Sunday. I am not sure about internet til Friday, but I should have wifi where I will be Friday & Saturday.

Spending Tues - Friday with friends & am really looking forward to sleeping, walking, reading & fishing..
Friday and Sat will be a Speech Pathology conference .

What was the movie Maryann?

Ems What happened to the 'barbacue summer' we were promised? I took a hot water bottle to bed the last few nights. BTW Ems. Can you fill in this old fogie about 'Made in Chelsea?' I saw the railer last night, and assumed it was a comedy about hooray Henries but from what I can gather, it is a reality show Why should England tremble eh? What a total wste of space they are.
Bad news about the colliers wasn't it? When I was nursing in Cardiff, we often got transfers from other hospitals involving pit accidents but since Maggy Thatcher closed most of the mines there were fewer accidents. My grand dad was a miner and had the miners tattoo, have you seen one? when they cut themselves underground, the coal dust would get in the cut and looked just like a tattoo.

Going to see my mum this morning.

Good Afternoon Ladies

Went out with my walking group this morning. I was able to walk with the group that cut it short because or rain. I walked with my hip brace and did wonders for me while walking.

When I got back to the center where we started I found my car acting up on me. The stirring wheel wasn't moving. It seemed like it was locked in the stirring column. I made it home and opened the hood and had my power stirring fluid bottle in my hand and notice that the liquid was fine it was up to the max on the bottle.Just had all the liquids check in July with my inspection. Do you or your DH's now why my stirring wheel was locked??? Read my manual and I can seem to find the answer. If it acts like that again tomorrow I will call the AAA to see what wrong with it.

EMS-I like the cooler weather more that the heat in the summer. To me you can always layer your clothes but in the summer you can't go nude.

NANCY-My gas stove inserts right into the fireplace opening and the way he put it in it looks very attractive. Will try to take a photo of it.

JOJO-I saw the movie "I Don't Know How She Does It" It was a little exaggerated but it was funny to in spots.

Have to go I getting hungry, have a great day

Hi there. I'm back online at home. Whew! It's been a rough 3.5 days without.

Ems, on passing your exams and getting on to your next year.

Nancy and Rhonda, I am glad you girls are getting away for a few days. Enjoy yourselves.

Vickie and Maryann,

I went to OA last night. The meeting was very uplifting. I am glad I went.

Have a great day, everyone. I'm going to do some surfing/catching up. Seems like I've been offline a year.

EMS Congratulations! I'm so pleased for you. In the UK OA stands for overeaters anonymous. It came here from the USA so I'm thinking thats what it stands for.

Maryann I've not seen that movie yet, will keep an eye open for it.

The world is geting smaller isn't it? And a good job too. Twenty years ago, you could only get sweet potatoes in specialist shops and now they are on the vegetable display in the supermarket. As little as 10 years ago, I hadn't heard of butternut squash and had to email a Canadian friend about what they looked like. He sent me a picture but now they are as common as every other veg. I'm having some squash this evening. I love it, but hubby doesn't

Good Morning Chicks! We signed the contract for the bathroom remodel yesterday. Very expensive but we think this company is going to do a great job. It will start in about 5 or 6 weeks and should be done by Thanksgiving.

My stomach is hurting so I'm not eating much.

Glad you're back online Sandra. I always miss reading your posts even when I have no time to post.

JoJo, I love squash. I'd come eat it with you!

Rhonda, I hope you're having fun.

Ems, OA is Overeaters' Anonymous. We work on the emotion and spiritual aspect of losing weight along with the physical. oa dot org

JoJo, you're right about the world's being smaller. I was just thinking the other day about all the different fruit/veggies we have available now year round.

Vickie, did you get your landscaping started?

I am in a high school AG class right now. (Agriculture) The students in here now are seniors. I've known them over 2 years now. Great kids--young adults.

Saw Biggest Loser last night. It's going to be a great season. So inspiring!
