Default Using the stevia plant

I was gifted with a little stevia plant which I tucked into the vegetable garden. I took a tiny tiny nibble of a leaf and it has a very high sweet note.

Has anyone experimented with using the leaves in their food? Dried and crumbled, snipped fresh, infused?

My friends chop it & put it in ice cube trays & fill with water & freeze. When frozen pop into ice tea or lemonade, mohito's etc!

I just pop a fresh leaf in my tea while it steeps. I am interested in other methods for preserving it.
