Hello Everyone I am approved for surgery and will be having it Friday May 27 Just went for pr-op test I am excited also nerves Any things for me to look for besides what the dr has told me Thanks

Good luck! I am in the pre-op stage and looking forward to my surgery being scheduled. Hope all turns out well, please post when you feel better to let us know how it went!

Sending you some calm and strengthening thoughts...it is very much a roller coaster between now and that Friday...just breathe...pack your bag well ahead of time...maybe with a book or magazines you would want to read, a comfortable robe and slippers for the walking around the hospital you will be doing.

The thing to remember afterwards is the pain is temporary, sip...sip...sip...and walk...walk...walk.
Buy the vitamins and protein-shakes now, but realize that your taste buds will change dramatically after surgery....better to be prepared though.

Hello Jiffypop I am doing well I was having gas issues but doing much better I am drinking my water and having my protein shakes. Anything else you recommend me to be doing? Thanks

Hello charlesando Thank you for thinking about me I am doing well I don't know if you had Lapband But wanted to know when I was going to get a fill I go to the Dr on July 5 Hoping he fills me I have been hungry and don't like it. I am still at 28 lbs Thanks again

Hello brillmama2 I am doing great Have lost 38 lbs and feel good I would have lb again in a heart better. I am just having a little problem with leg cramps Do you know what that could be from? Thank you for thinking about me {{hugs}}

Not sure. Are you exercizing? Or just doing more because it is easier to move with less weight.. I haven't had surgery. Just dieting so I don't know about related issues.. I hope you figure it out... gl

Could be magnesium. Make sure you are getting enough water too.
