Default Hello Again

I am back once more. I joined in 2009 and then had a lot of changes going on, mom diagnosed with Alzhimers, (she was 56 when diagnosed), going through a divorce, moving out of state to be with new man, getting diagnosed with major depressive disorder, anxiety, panic attacks, ptsd, agoraphobia, being told I can't work anymore, getting married in 2013. A lot of changes, I was at my lowest weight ever of 294, then I just slipped into a funk, started taking meds for my depression, couldn't get out of bed, ballooned up to 385 and now I am down to 339 after making changes to the way I eat and think. Not sure if you all remember me or not, Hope all are well, (edited the weight as when I was on scale it said 343, Aunt Flo came 2 days later, waited until aunt flo was gone and weighed today(3/12) I am at 339.

One pound one day at a time.

Hello,

I am going to be age 50 by the end of 2018. But that keeps me in the 40's for a little bit more.

I am trying to lose about 15-20 lbs (hopefully by end of June, 2018). I started the Dukan Diet this week. So, have made it through "Attack Phase" (3 days of pure lean protein) and now I have 60 days of "Cruise Phase" (alternating days of pure protein, called "PP" days, with protein and veggie, called "PV" days).

I started to work on dropping this weight on Jan. 1, 2018. Saturdays are my weigh-in days.

March, 2018

March 10: 174.2 lbs
March 17: 170.8 lbs

I'm going to be 50 this year, too, in the autumn. Sure does get harder every year that passes. I want to lose 10 and its more of a struggle than 20lbs was in my 30's! Here's to us all, ladies!
