Newbie

Hello Im new here. I have been struggling with my weight since I graduated high school( 30years ago.) I have yet to stick with any diet, food changes or exercise for more than a week.I have tried all the fads. I am now at the point where my weight is affecting me physically. Im sure Im a diabetic, heartburn, acid reflux, stress fractures in both feet, And very hard time sleeping. I give up consistently but keep trying. People say its a mindset, I get the mindset for a day or so and then it goes away. I have explored possible surgeries but that wont fix the reason why over eat! I have been doing alot of soul searching trying to figure out WHY I eat the way I do. What started my over indulging. I am frustrated and as I type this I am crying. I am not looking for sympathy. I am looking for others who have a similiar situation who understand and support me as I again try to become a healthier me, as I do the same for them.
Some other issues I am having: the pouch cause alot of moisture in my girl parts, leaving me susceptible to fungal infections on a regular basis(Ive returned to wearing granny panties, not happy about that) I am also sweating more and concerned about odor- Constantly. I snore pretty loud,
Thanks for listening ! I look forward to chatting and learning from others !

Welcome!

What kind of diet are you looking into? There are several sections here which could give you some ideas of where to start.

You might benefit from a diet like Primal Blueprint (a version of paleo) - I found I didn't feel deprived while on it, it's actually quite satiating, and I lost weight effortlessly if I kept my carb count down and walked every day.

Thank you for the welcome. Not really looking for a specific diet. But more looking for support and encouragement as I try again to chang my eating habits.
