I'm new (again). This is my intro reply. lol

I lost a ton of weight a couple years ago and
donated my bigger apparel. I lost down to
sizes 8,9, 10 and 11.( different cuts)
Now, I have gained back to a sz 16us.
Pushing an 18. :o
To not set myself up for unneeded
frustration I threw out my Mediums and most
size 8s &9s. My goals won't be as lofty this
time (I'm older now so hormones will hinder
some efforts). Recently I bought XL tanks,
I believe I should fit in a 2x with that particular
vendor. Hopefully I can get back down to
a Large us sz 12/14 and maintain. My closet
is already full of 11/13 and 15/17. If I can
keep those and actually -wear- them, I'll
be so relieved.

I've saved some of my better quality old clothes in a size 10-12 (but 1972 size 10 and 12, clothes sizes have changed a LOT since then)

Fat clothes, I am no longer keeping as a "back up" because I am not going to go back. Period.

Are the sizes bigger or smaller from 1972
in comparison to now I'm from that period
but I was a child.
, I'm curious how different the sizing was.
