Oh a peoples, I'm so excited!!! ICU, I know this time of the year is slow, I was mostly just amusing myself because who else will do it for me? Thanks for the good thoughts on the passing of stress!
I know what you mean by all the formalized holidays, I'm looking forward to being on the other side of all of this. Not that I want to wish my life away in giant month hunks, but still. January, here I come!
Hang in there!
Today's good decision: extra coffee, I need it.

Today's good decision: extra walking in the morning, excellent stress reducer.

I will join in. My one good decision so far was not to have toast. I have the Ezekiel bread, and often my treat for the weekends is to have toast eggs and soyrizo. But because I had more than a normal amount of simple carbs yesterday, I decided that today I would skip bread and grains for today. Protien, fruits and veggies, only. (And healthy fat.)
And my good choice for yesterday: We all packed up left overs. I packed up Turkey, deviled eggs, and Beet and Kale Salad. Not Mashed Potatoes, no sweet potatoes with marshmallows, no stuffing. They did not enter my house.

Good decision a) instead of ice cream, I had an avocado with homemade hot sauce (fat craving)! Good decision b) I'm drinking acai green tea instead of my somewhat ingrained habit of a snifter of single malt.

ICU -- I am re-reading the Outlander series, so a single malt sounds particularly appealing, lassie. But good for you with the tea!
Today's good decision: some gentle stretching for my back, which is really acting up on me right now.

Stretching is ALWAYS a good decision!
Yesterday's good decisions: Joined Planet Fitness with my friend. Hung around after for 40 minutes and even got sweaty.

Lot's of good decisions for me:
1) I knew today was going to be a long day, so I packed a ton healthy snacks and ate every 2 to 3 hours all day.
2) I did cheat and have a cupcake. But I knew I was going to cheat, because it was my interns last day and we did a small party for her. So I went out and bought amazing gourmet cupcakes. If I was going to cheat, it was going to have to be amazing and it was.
3) I went to Zumba. First time ever. And I had fun. I will do it again.

Good decision - joined my workplace's last challenge of the year, called Fit and Festive. Even though I've completed the two necessary challenges for my benefits credits, this one has all the right ingredients. We will track weight (just a delta, not a number!), number of exercise minutes, number of holiday drinks consumed, number of second helpings, and number of desserts from now until the 2nd week of January. It will be good for me to keep track of these things daily this month!

Nice job Seana -- if you're going to splurge it should be on something FANTASTIC, you're so right!
ICU -- wow, that's a nice challenge, I like the tracking of second helpings, very clever!
Today's good decision: avocado on Ezekiel toast with a really nice slice of tomato for breakfast, instead of just coffee.

Then I'd have to clean a blender. Sounds exhausting. But maybe I'll have the energy to do that soon!
Today's good decision: Hot pink polish on the tootsies to bring a little happy happy joy joy things are never as bad as they seem it is always darkest before the dawn suck it up buttercup just whistle while you work it's just a flesh wound kind of attitude to bear early this Thursday morning.
