I've been in the hospital -- where they take all your decisions away from you and treat you like you're 3 years old. After a couple of days I felt like I was 3, and just wanted to throw a big ole tantrum! Good decision for the 4 days I was in the hospital: not throwing a tantrum, all those nurses have needles! *shiver*

Today's good decision: I bought some fresh artichokes to have as a "glad I'm home" celebration! Nom nom nom!

I ate my OP lunch, even though I didn't like it. It was starkest tuna with garlic and herbs. I don't recommend it.

My good choice of the day: joining this forum! :)

Mrs Snark 09-12-2014 03:25 PM

Welcome chmia!

Today's good choice: Cinnamon on my Ezekiel toast. Something about cinnamon is so comforting and reminiscent of childhood. Like a hug of my grandma.

Glad you're home..sorry i'm late on this...I would have supported one mini tantrum..

Got up at 5:30am and worked out, schedule has been wacky because of jury duty, but I'm back on track.

Mrs Snark 10-22-2014 12:27 PM

Ooo it's been quiet! Too quiet.

Today's good decision: cinnamon in the coffee and I restrained myself from overeating toast at breakfast.

Thanks for the tantrum support Obsidian! I can really throw a mean one! :)

I have hidden the birthday weekend bagels out of my sight (my husband will finish off the rest of them).

I had my bagel on Saturday, it was really delicious, but I don't need a bagel-a-day habit rolling into the holiday season. I had fruit and oatmeal for breakfast. Much more reasonable.

I was going to start a thread like "I Wanted ______ but instead I had _____" but I think this thread is the same idea :)

Today at work, I wanted to eat the baked ziti that was the lunch special..I wanted just a taste of it, because I haven't had pasta in weeks...even had to take care of the leftovers, put them in a smaller container, wash the cheesy saucy insert pan..but instead I had my small container of delicious homemade lunch stew I brought in.

I Cast my absentee Nov 4th USA voter Ballot...

I felt aweful since yesterday @ work I was run around like a dog. So today I collapsed and after lunch I cast my Nov 4th Absentee Voter Ballot. Everyone get out and vote Nov 4th . At least that's when it is here for us Californian's not sure about Kansas or Nebraska???:?:

Today, my good decision was NOT to cave and eat sugary junk. I had a little bit of deli roast beef with some horseradish sauce and that satisfied me. Also, on the way home, I fantasized about buying something cakey and sugary but did not!!

Mrs Snark 10-29-2014 08:34 AM

VermontMom - Great job resisting the sugary stuff (and the ziti!) !

Bluerose - Sorry you had a rough day at work, hang in there!

Today's good decision: squats during the dog walks (when they got slow sniffing stuff).

todays' good decision...tuna fish for lunch instead of the big burger that I really wanted.

Hello all 40-somethings!!
Thought I'd check in and see how you're doing. Good to see you back, Mrs. Snark and good to see you Zumba! Hope things are going well! Mrs. Snark, hope you are well on the road to recovery, I did check your blog, sorry to hear you got so sick, you were missed!

I completed the C25K regimen again, today I made myself go out even though it was chilly and it might be dark coming back, but I did it.

best to all, keep making those good choices, they add up to success :sunny:
