Seana -- nice job with the zumba and no binging! I've never been to a formal class, but I occasionally do zumba classes on youtube-- lots of fun!

By the way, I know that in this day and age of extreme sports where people leap from planes naked on snowboards to carve their way down Everest... and everyone and their cousin is doing a marathon in every state and two on Sunday... and Susan in Accounting does Ironmans while carrying a legless camel on her back in order to bring awareness to the plight of legless camels that dream of participating in triathlon sport... that somehow a person who walks on the treadmill for an hour "not that fast" while suffering from a menstrual migraine feels the need to put the word "just" in front of her accomplishment, as in:

"I just walked on the treadmill for an hour and I wasn't even walking fast."

But let me tell you, sister: You got dressed for the gym with a menstrual migraine, you got yourself to the gym (via car, or bus, or magic carpet) with a menstrual migraine, you got on the treadmill with a menstrual migraine, and you walked FOR AN HOUR on the treadmill with a menstrual migraine at some speed above COMPLETELY STILL.

YOU, my dear, are a freakin' HERO. Live with it.

Becky -- a fitbit, oooo funsies!

Good choice - first pool workout of the year last night - 3650 yds in 90 minutes.

Seana, awesome job exercising with a migraine, even getting out of bed for that matter.
Michelle, thanks, Ravens are Phase 1 friendly right, I mean, we can eat them right. LOL j.k. Definitely happy for the Pats.

I guess the only good choice I have today so far is that I'm still on plan, no cheats.

That's a pretty good choice.

I personally approach my food issues they way suggest addicts approach their addictions in 12 step programs. One day at a time. I'm not promising to keep this up forever. I just going to worry about today.

That said, my good choice today was really upping my work out today. I've been pushing myself this week, because I am going out of town this weekend and probably won't work out for at least 3 days if not 4. I'm hoping I'll do yoga tomorrow, but I'll worry about that tomorrow.

Oh my goodness was tonight hard. Finals tomorrow. One is a group project. Very stressed out and I sooooo wanted to dive into my old comforting habit (wine and a big bowl of popcorn, not in a healthy way). I did it though. I pulled through and didn't give in. Instead after I was all done with work I made a yummy ricotta desert, phase 1 approved.

I didn't eat the leftover bagel in the breakroom, which is one of my favorites (Asiago cheese from Einstein).

I have fantasize about getting my Ph.D., but I wonder how I will do? When I was working on my Master's all the study groups involved food. Bad food. I learn best when I'm nibbling. So anyway, I commend you.

I miss bagel's but they are definitely on my "can't eat" list right now.

My one good thing: I used the free weights at the gym to do bicep curls. I'm a little nervous to make my way into those muscle bound men (and women) and then grab the wimpy 10 pound weight. But I did it, and you know no one paid any attention to me.

You guys are all amazing!

I had a tiny bowl of sorbet instead of half a ton of Swiss chocolate.

Today, I didn't eat the huge dark chocolate bar a sweet coworker gave me because she "hates" dark chocolate. I'll take it home and give it to my kiddo. But I know it's there. In my bag. Calling my name.

So many good choices everyone, whoo hoo! Keep it up, so inspiring!

Someone (who shall be nameless -->> MR. SNARK) bought agave nectar for an unknown reason (to torture me?!?!?) and put it in the coffee cabinet at my house. I need to write on the chalk board 100 times:

I don't need agave nectar in my coffee.
I don't need agave nectar in my coffee.
I don't need agave nectar in my coffee.
I don't need agave nectar in my coffee.
I don't need agave nectar in my coffee.

I'm currently NOT having agave nectar in my coffee. But I'm hyper aware it is over there in the cabinet. Looking all adorable and sweet.

Today's good decision: a wee bit o' sprints. Really clears the head and burns off the anxiety. And when the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll be able to at least sprint (briefly) for a secure building.
