A "Maggie May" moment
"The morning sun, when it's in your face, really shows your age" ~~ Rod Stewart
Hi all, I decided to put this in the 40's section so you all could show me some empathy :D This morning, the sun was shining through the kitchen window and I was standing there helping my dear sweet husband get his cooler ready for work, when he said "this lighting is really harsh on you". Gee thanks. I said "what, is it really accentuating my wrinkles?" "No, your pores." Oh great, not only do I have to worry about wrinkles, now I have big pores, too!!! What a great way to start my day :sunny: |
LOL, very nice of your DH. At least you know he's always honest with you...
Last year my then-7 DS told me that the new principal was a lot younger than I am. When I asked him how he could tell, he told me that her face wasn't all crinkly like mine; very nice. |
Haha. Kids and husbands. What would we do without them? :)
|
with out them we'd probably have a little more self esteem. jk
|
Dang, DDC! Don't you spend a minute worrying about wrinkles or pores! Look at those great arms!! :woohoo: You go, fit and pretty lady!!
|
Thank you, diyana :)

Don't we just love the brutal honesty of husbands and kids. :) My DS7 gives me his honest opinion about my weight all the time. Just lovely. :)
