Welcome! Re the question about it getting harder after 40 - it probably is. Have you ever heard the expression, "Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill?" It's pretty true. We 40s are well accustomed to finding ways to sneak off the weight in ways that don't make us miserable - we trick it off with calorie cycling, with exercising "casually" so our bodies don't know we're doing it, and many of us use calorie counting because dang it, we're just not willing to give up a glass of wine or beer. Or chocolate.

We aren't perfect, but we ARE losing, and we are having one heck of a good time doing it!
