I think I could have written this post exactly! I feel exactly the same way and have exactly the same habits (except for the journaling). But I like to go to bed knowing that the scale will hold a pleasant surprise for me in the morning, or that I'll need to up my commitment the next day.

I weigh every morning. I still can't believe this is all real. I know any day I'm going to get on that scale and its going to say 225 again. So I have to check every day just to make sure it isn't THAT day...

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a scale addict. I weigh myself at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. And yes, I'll admit it sometimes three times a day. I find it really motivating. A while back, I had my husband hide the scale because I thought I should only weigh once a week. That didn't last. I feel like I stay on track better with close monitoring!
