Goal Weight: 150-170 (I'm sure this will become more specific as it gets closer, and thereby less abstract)
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: depression/anxiety which makes me give up on lots of things when I feel frustrated
Following any specific plan: no, simply doing low carb/high protein and calorie counting
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: last chance to salvage my health before I develop full-blown heart disease, etc...

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Im 40 now with more health challenges.
Anything else you would like to post: turned 40 in June. I previously made it to 140 but couldn't maintain. I now have a collapsed disc in my back and degenerative disc disease. Have also found out I have fibroids and will be having my uterus removed. Really looking forward to that. Not sure how I'm going to manage this. No one actually reads these.
Hobbies/Interests: Walking, hiking, sometimes biking, photography, making odd things now and then like walking sticks.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I don't want to eat this much any time...I am tired of noticing that yes I ate those tacos and yes I really did eat that entire pizza. I dn't want to do that anymore.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I live in a small town and pretty much j ust work and go home..I would ike a support group..just someone. LOL

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I want to do it as a lifestyle change and not see it as a diet.
Anything else you would like to share with us:I am my worst enemy, always hard to say no too myself. When I start losing weight I start to cheat here and there. When the weight comes back on I feel defeated and leave everything. My motto and mantra in my head is ''Better choices". I am sure with just cutting out certain things from my diet I can reach success. Sugar is one of the first things, which I thought would be very hard. This is now my third week and it is really not bad. I find that I do not have insane hunger pangs when my blood sugar drops. So this means that I am not binging when I come from work. There has been a few times I was very hungry, but then I try to make better choices!

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: It's not so much vanity anymore...I'm worried for my health
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm in my early fourties and married with 4 children. I'm a certified doula and a SaHM. I gained most of my 100+ pounds in the past ten years after I was put on some medication. I can't quit taking the meds but I'm hoping that I can jump-start my metabolism again with good nutritrion and some exercise or activity. Hoping I can make some friends here and encourage others as well as being encouraged. I look forward to meeting all of you!
