Default I'm BFC prospect/newbie and I admit it

So, I've been reading the book, got the two pack BFC book and carbcounter book at Costco, super cheap, and I have a question.

I really do not have a lot of belly weight. I've been cursed with tush and thigh weight gain. Will I lose some of that on BFC? Kinda curious about that.

I tried Adkins and it was too much for me to handle. Plus I'm not that crazy about eggs. I'm thinking that BFC is the way to go with reducing my sugar while watching carbs.

Thanks for any opinions

I have been losing weight all over my body with the BFC. I'm not sure why the diet has the title it does - maybe because of all the fiber pushing the waste out of your intestines that Jorge talks about? That's only the first week though. I say give it a shot for a month or two and see if it works for you.

The BFC is more lenient than early-stage Atkins in terms of the number of carb grams you can eat. Since it doesn't have different phases (well I guess there's the "fast track" now but I haven't read that) it won't take you too long to figure out if it's for you.

Personally I do eat a lot of eggs, but I'm sure you can avoid them.

I've been on BFC for about 2.5 weeks now. I've lost all over, but mostly in my hips and belly. I love love love this plan! So much easier than Atkins.

Thank you all so much for the replies
Luckily I have Trader Joes, a very good small independent natural foods, Whole Foods, etc, nearby so getting the pitas, tortillas, etc, will be easy. And cheap thanks to TJ's.
Thanks again! CGS

So I'm not very good at setting goals. I'm a Pisces and enjoy 'free swimming', no destination. However I did make a goal to try and cut out the extra sugar in the things I use the most. I bought some xylitol packets at the natural store and I love it more than Stevia. I also ordered some Nature's Hollow products off of Netrition. I cannot stomach unsweetned yogurt, pancakes, etc, so if I'm gonna continue to eat them, take the sugar out. I also ordered some Tova Carbquik mix and crepe mix. I tried the 'pancake' recipie in BFC book and could not get past the smell! I also set a goal of no added sugar in my coffee, use my xylitol packets and measured out whipping cream.
baby steps in the right direction )
