Told one of the ladies at my meeting this week that I'd come here and try to find the point value for chicken wing meat. Our leader told her to imagine the meat from a leg and then count 1 point for the same amount of meat from as many wings as it takes to get that. Would this work? Does anyone have a more accurate count? Any replies appreciated!!
If you are talking 'Buffalo' style they are between 1-3 point each with skin. For example Domino's bakes theirs and they are 1 point each, however, Hooter's are 3-4 points each because they are breaded and fried.
The sauce is usually 1/2 butter and 1/2 hot sauce and that adds points also.
I have been looking for the pt value of Wingstop Lemonpepper wings. I found 'chickenwing w/skin and fried" and it was a whooping 5pts per wing. I was eating 20 in one setting pre WW. YIKES!
