So, I disappeared back at the end of May, right before a 2 month vacation back home to California. Needless to say, between the whole mentality of being on holiday, the fabulous food available in my area and not being able to be on 3FC much, I fell completely out of control. I gained almost 15 pounds back! In just 2 months! I've lost two pounds since coming home, but that still puts me back at 238.4...ugh. I'm so disappointed in myself. I worked so hard to get out of the 230s (worst decade EVER for losing for me), and now I've lead myself right back to the top end of them.
That is part of the reason it has taken me this last week or two to reapproach my goals with any kind of renewed enthusiasm. I've been telling myself that I will re-lose the weight before coming back on here so I could just pick back up where I left off...but, I realized that 3FC and my calorie counter on LiveStrong were the main reasons I was ever able to keep holding myself accountable.
So, I'm back. A whole 13 pounds heavier, but I know it will come right back off now that I'm back on here. I still haven't come to terms with changing all my progress info on here, but maybe over the next couple of days. I want to see what kind of progress I can make first now that I've returned.
Anyways, I also wanted to say hello to all my old thread buddies and to everyone who is new, as well! I'm happy to be back here with you all!
i've seen many folks come back after a hiatus with poundage to lose, and instead of changing the ticker 'up'... they make their first minigoal to make their ticker accurate again. i'd say do it that way, moving it backwards is depressing.
Also, I actually think that's a good idea. I just made a little mini-ticker to go beside my main one, where I usually put my monthly challenges. This will just be my first official challenge after returning.
Welcome back! On the bright side, this is totally reversible and you can do it! You've done it before! The important thing is that you're back on track whatever your progress says currently.

Welcome back Ophelia! I'm sorry things weigh arwy with your weight loss while on vacation...I think that's happened to all of us. The important things are that you are back and you've got a plan.
