Talking new and excited!

Hi, I'm a newbie . well, sort of. i have been here before but it was quite a while ago.

Since then i have joined university and am about to finish my first year. I left the board because things sort of came together. i got to uni and i think i was happy to be in a new place etc etc and i was less reliant on food as comfort and so i lost weight. about three dress sizes actually. I went from a size 16 (uk size) to an 8/10 and i was thrilled BUT i realised i did something silly which was to drop the amount i ate waaaaay too much and lost it all too quickly and so now... nearly a year later... i'm beginning to eat more normally (and possibly a little too indulgently!!! ) and i'm gaining it back (and its not a slow process either!!!!)

i don't want to be a size 16 again, i remember being very miserable at that size and i would really love it if i could return to this community because i think the support would be really helpful...

is that ok?!

Hello Penguina!
I am a newbie, just came on today. I have a friend who has been here for a few years, everyone seems nice. The support seem to be really great, something for everyone. It is hard when you lose the wgt then is starts creeping back up. It is good that you are doing something about it now. Good luck to you. .

Welcome Penguina and Bo-beena. I started here in October and love it! No matter which thread you post in, everyone is ready to encourage, support, and help you stay on track. I have now lost 42 lbs and have no doubt that it wouldnt have happened without the support and accountability Ive found here. I hope you both find the same to be true. Good luck on your new journey! Just jump in and start posting!
