Talking Fasting made me realize!!

So I'm just starting out and I haven't cut out my night time snacks... but last night I had to fast for an appointment and I didnt even crave the snack.. and tonight.. I didnt crave anything either!!... I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction!!.. What are some things that made you realize you could skip the treat?!

I used to always think I'd starve at night and wouldn't be able to sleep without having something. But now I just do it. I might feel hungry for a while, but it goes away. I also learned this from my two attempts at IF (which otherwise left me feeling ill.)
