Default WW and SB

From time to time someone experiments with eating by SB rules, but also counting points for portion control. I've done that for the past 8 days and was surprised to find that my points on SB are considerably under my WW allowance. I have 37 points (39 when I restarted) and average 22 to 28 points when eating SB (and am completely satisfied, never hungry.)

I've been losing steadily; I know it's early days.

This isn't proof of anything, of course, just one woman's experience. But I had been eating low point meals, being hungry, adding such things as whole grain English muffins with jam, or sugary yogurt, and stay within points, but not feel satisfied and not lose well. It's interesting.

Yeah I went on a calorie counting site a few weeks ago to see what my typical day looks like, and I was way under! Like 1100 cals when I should prob have around 1500. So crazy. So not hungry. Genius way of life, I say!

I think the low GI foods that dominate the SB "diet" really help with the hunger. I always count calories and log every day because staying "on plan" isn't enough for me. I know I have issues with portion control...

Interesting that a few of us, at least, have had the same experience.

When I did WW I made poor choices in food and ate those yogurts and basically a high carb/low fat diet. I lost only four pounds in 9 weeks, I never ever cheated and was starving!!! I have been tracking my calories now on Fitday and also find I sometimes under eat calories with SBD and I am not hungry. It's awesome and I really LIKE every thing I eat. It's really not all about calories but also the type of foods we eat.
