Default How to lose bust size?

Ever since I started weight loss I've been hoping that I'd lose some bust size, but no.

A little background information, I m 22 years old, Asian. Highest weight is 230 and I am now at 140. I m approaching my goal and generally happy with my progress. Though there is this thing, I m always considered Busty and I stands out major among my other Asian friends. Now, I m not saying I want smaller boobs, I want c cup and small waist, but I m at b cup with a 38 bust, it just upsets me by a lot. There's a lot of cute dresses I can't wear because I look like a cow. I can't fit into any Asian cloth because their bust is tiny.

I really want to be at the 34-36 bust size but at 90 pounds gone Ive yet lost anything up there

Anyone else have this issue?

Thank you in advance

I'm no expert but if you're a 38 B at your weight I'm guessing you're simply genetically got a big rib cage. How much fat could there be on your sides and back at this point?

I can relate to not being able to buy clothes you like. At my height and weight I need to buy XL-T but that size doesn't exist for the most part. 2X-T is difficult enough...

The good news is that I'm guessing other people wouldn't notice at all unless you pointed it out to them while you were standing in front of them in a bikini.

Have you ever been that size as an adult? This is kind of obvious, but have you tried wearing a minimizer bra? That might help you fit into the dresses and look smaller. I get down to a 36 C at your weight, but I bet we have very different builds.

mine have gotten smaller in the past few weeks, but i think they will always look bigger as your getting smaller, try the minimizer good idea.. otherwise embrace it ;0 i think if i went much smaller bust size my other half would be disappointed haha

Congratulations on how far you have come... enjoy your success and work clothes that make them look smaller if your still not happy..

If you go to a Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, or higher end lingerie store, they can help you find one that works for you. Someone who knows what they are doing in a lingerie dept. really helps.

Ivonnely, I am actually the bra specialist at my area Macys. The folk on this forum are giving you the correct advice.

1. Go to your local higher end department store, they all have trained fitters in the intimates department. Ask them to measure you, it is free and easy.

2. Ask them about minimizer bras, and if that would be something that would work for you.

Something that you could do at home right now-- Get a tape measure, measure with your bra on (assuming it isn't all padding), around your upper waist under your bra ... Then measure around your breasts. So say you really ARE a 38b you should measure first to 36-38 inches and the second time around 40 inches. But if you come up something different, then its not right. Your not wearing the right size.

The cup size is basically determined by the addition of inches on your base #... 1inch=A cup 2 inches=b cup 3inches=c cup and so on..... It is when you have larger breast tissue that it gets a bit tricky. . . .

Good luck, I hope I explained that ok. It is kinda weird to type out. lol

We're the same height. In the last 5 lbs, I've lost half an inch off my bust.

I would avoid Victoria's Secret. Their employees are not properly trained to measure you for the right size, and they'll just put you in whatever size they have available, even if it's not actually the best size for you. If it's at all possible, go to a real lingerie store, or at least a department store. But don't waste your money at Victoria's Secret.

Agreed. I'd get out the tape measurer yourself. I've gotten to the point that I rarely trust anyone to give me my bra measurements since some people do that crazy adding 4" to the band. At your height/weight I'd be pretty surprised if you still had a 38" rip cage but I suppose it's possible (but I would assume that's bones/muscle more than fat). Now if it's your actual in your cup size that's different and that can be lost with further weight loss...

I just measured myself with tape measurer and the result is 34inch below my breast and 38 right on them. Should I add 4inch to them when looking to buy some?

I don't live close to any at the moment ;( I had to order online...

No! You'd be a 34 D then. That's probably why you're appearing a lot bigger if you're wearing a 38B, your band size is way too big so you're not getting enough support and lift from your current bras. You should definitely be able to find that locally... A proper fitting bra will actually make you look a lot skinner!

>< The problem is.. When I try on my brand new 38B bra that's been sitting there forever, they seem to fit fine and maybe a little tight. Though after like 5 wears, they'll be looser and the straps falls almost every 10-15minute..
