Default i didnt realize i walked so much!

I got a pedometer from WW when i signed up and i turned it on at work. I have a mainly sit down job but i do deliver orders so im also a bit active. Come to find out on average i walk about 2-3 miles a day in 8 hours at work! I was really surprised. Ive just recently started weight watchers and im walking everyday...im not a fast walker because my knees suck, but i do walk for about 30 minutes when i get off of work. I hope this is enough to help me lose the weight. Im extremely out of shape, and a smoker (yes i should quit but one step at a time) so strenuous exercise is out of the question i have to ease my way into this i suppose.

WAY TO GO!!! I'm trying to take more steps myself but sitting for 12 hrs at work 4 day/week is not really conducive toward my goal. To add salt to my injury, i work night so my eating/sleeping schedule is a little screwy as well. I just recently break out my pedometer again and am trying to walk on my days off =]

Just wanted to share that on Wednesday i walked 2.26 miles...then Thursday a grand total of 4.10 miles! i wasnt out of breath or anything! i was so happy!!!! sadly i couldnt walk today because when i was walking yesterday i had to get off the road as far as i could without getting into a ditch and ended up rolling my ankle during my 4.10 mile walk...just to avoid some @$$ who was headed right for me so my ankle is a bit swollen still grrrr.
