Default A small victory

I'm not doing well at this weight loss stuff at all! I lack self motivation and control and am finding that I think I have binge eating issues that I didn't realize I had, I'm pretty sure I alway have now, my metabolism was just able to handle it better 15 years ago I guess....anyway....

I was up to 160 last week and my pants were very uncomfortably tight. They were beginning to irritate my c-section scar they were so tight (last c-section was 18 months ago!) I switched to drinking diet pop, I have to break my sugar habit before going for killing the caffiene habit. And have been getting some more excersize in by taking the kids for a walk, DS1 on his bike and me lugging the two little ones in the wagon. I'm down 3 lbs from a week ago and my pants are comfortable again! (well, at least the pair I am wearing today LOL). I was kind of thinking I'd have to lose 10 lbs to be comfortable again.

Now, I just need to dig in and keep it up.

Good for you! You gotta figure there's a line at some point between clothes being comfortable or not, and you must not have gone very far over that line.

I love these kind of victories! And I never look at them as being big or small. A victory is a victory!

PS -- I cut out the sugary soda's too but I never gave up the caffine. Nope, can't do it. And it didn't stall my weight loss at all.

This is exactly the kind of success I'm shooting for. To realize things need attention when the pants get tight, not after I've gone up several sizes and those are to tight!
Good job!!
