Well I lost another 2 lbs this week and am at 255, so I thought it was finally time to start a 250's thread. It is a beautiful day here today so I am going to definitely get my exercise in today.
I hope people will join me in this thread. Let's get out of the 250's!
After a regain I'm back at 259 *grumbles* Yeah I need something to kick my backside and get me out of here. Back on writing down the food that goes in my mouth and drinking liters of squash.
Oh good! I just got into the 250's sometime around the 4th of May. I looked around for a 250's thread but alas! None were to be found......until now :P As of now I'm at 255.6. I have a feeling that getting out of the 250's is going to be a bit of a challenge for me, i've yo-yo'd to about here and back up several times.. I know once I see 249 I'm gonna be really relieved.
Lamiechop welcome! I am hoping to get out the 250's by the end of May. I know if I predict it sooner, I will start retaining water and balloon out like a Macy's Parade float.
Cleophas, I have to write everything down (I use Weightwatcher's online for that) or I start cheating and not counting "little" bites here and there.

OhMyDogs, I think you should post in this thread daily as an affirmation that you have arrived in the 250 zone.
As for me, I am hoping to get out of the 250's quickly because it took me forever to get here. I was stuck in a month long plateau in the 260's and with spring here I am so ready to lose this weight!
Let's post often and help each other leave this thread for the 240's thread and beyond.
Count me in on this thread! I'm currently 258 and have been hovering around that for a very long time.
I am in a rather unique position with my body where it doesn't gain or lose weight much at all. Up until about five years ago I had been 237 for eight years straight, despite doing numerous diets and workouts and whatever else I could think of to do.
Then, somehow I managed to gain 20 lbs when I wasn't looking, and now I've been hovering around 258 for the last 4 years or so. About a year and a half ago I got discouraged and decided to give up, which didn't effect me much, to be honest, but now, I'm back and ready to get back on the horse and try once more to get out of the 250s at the very least! Not sure if it'll work, but it's fun to try anyway.
So, I may be in this thread for a while, but I'm really hoping that this time I'll just be passing through!
I walk my kids to and from school every day, try to get some rollerblading in. Some weeks I add water aerobics twice a week. Right now I'm mainly trying to cut off my caffeine and peanut addiction.
Hey you guys...this thread is awesome, but I think the 250 peeps also post in the "240's to 260's" thead, for some reason they are grouped in 20-lb increments around here, just a heads up!!!
I need to workout MUCH more than I do. I did yard work yesterday - basically worked around the house puttering with stuff, but never really got a sweat "work-out" in. What do you all do for excercise?
As for me, I just started back on my weight loss quest last week or so after taking a long time off from it. So, my exercise routine isn't firmly established yet, but, what I am doing is a yoga routine in the mornings, and doing at least 30 minutes of Your Shape and/or Dance Central with the Kinect.
I've got my appointment today to be trained on all the gym equipment again, because I'm not allowed to join the gym again without going through that training. So, once I get my gym membership all situated again, I'll probably be trying to get back to going to the gym every day. Yay! I've missed the gym!
