Hello, all!
I just started a high protein diet, working with a doctor. I have an appetite suppressant prescription as well as some high-protein meal replacement shakes and bars.
To my question: The LPN recommended that I not change my activity level, but I'd been intending on trying to work out at least 30 minutes (if not 60 minutes) a day, and had already started doing so this week.
Have any of you on a high protein diet had this recommended to you? I know I should trust the people who've gone to medical and nursing school, but at the same time I feel that working out keeps my stress in check and generally makes me feel better.
Any advice?
I have a weigh in next week and a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks, so I can always ask directly then. Should've pressed the point today, I know, but I honestly found the LPN intimidating. Wish I'd asked the doc, who was far more personable.
Thanks!
