Default Wii Zumba!!!

Right I bought this the other day and have just given it its first outing from the box. Wow! I did the easiest workout on it and after the 20minute "class" I feel like I'm finally getting a really good workout

I love it. I used to love dancing so I think I've found my "thing"

What does everyone else think of this?

If you're on the fence about buying....DO IT! If you like the look of dancing to get fit I can say you'll looovveee it!! Its awesome. Especially for unfit people like myself 20mins of this a day plus swimming and walking and I'll be fit in no time

Thanks for the review. I've been looking at it but keep deciding against it because I have so many other unused Wii fitness games. I might rethink this one.

I really like the Wii Zumba, but if you have carpeted floors it makes it harder, because you can't slide. I really wish there was a fast forward or skip on some of the dances though. There is one slow dance that is in the middle of the routine that I just can't stand, so I normally stop then. Other than that I love it and I get a good workout.

I have JD and JD2 and love them both! JD2 is a bit more of a workout,so I like that a bit more, but they are both fun.

Can you list pros/cons?

I've been reading reviews and they have really turned me away from it.

I've just started using the Wii Zumba. So far I've only done the 20 minute beginners class, but it's a really good workout. Unlike a lot of games, it has both a warmup and cool down section, so it feels like a proper class and you get to stretch your muscles at the end. The classes give a mixture of dance styles, so you don't get bored.

The only downside I've found is the number of tutorials - there are loads! I do a weekly Zumba class, so decided to just jump in with the routines and learn any additional steps as I go along, which has worked pretty well so far. If I was new to Zumba, I suppose the number of tutorials would put me off.

Apart from that, it's great. I've already got Just Dance and Dance on Broadway. If you like dance wrokouts, give it a try!

This is good.. I've been thinking of getting this one.. I was a big fan of EA Active before.. That was my alternative from doing my fitness videos.. (Turbo Jam, Hip hop Abs)

I've tried Just dance as well.. thinking of getting the second one as well.. It's good for parties and sleepovers with friends..

I'm quite hesitant on attending Zumba classes on my gym but this may help give me a quick start..

The tutorials I couldn't get.She starts off slow, but then picks up speed and it doesn't allow you to really learn the moves like a tutorial should. So,I stopped trying those altogether and jumped right in....so I guess that would be a con,but not a real big one.

A pro would be that it really gives you a workout. This is definately one that gets me sweating...and I don't sweat alot.

Some video stores should carry this now,so for anyone on the fence about it,rent it and see.

I do an hour of the intense workout on Just Dance 2 everyday and LOVE it! It keeps me entertained and keeps me sweating at the same time. I have been wanting to try Zumba so I think I am going to look into getting this game. Sounds fun!

I couldnt wait to try this after reading tons of good reviews and because we love the wii dances but we can't do it! The tutorials go way to fast and I'm finding it hard to jump into the lesson even on beginners level! My daughter tried and she couldn't do it either so it's not just me showing my age lol. We must have no co-ordination! It's only our first try so we're not giving up yet.
You also need quite a lot of space.

Stick with it. You will get the hang of it if you try one of the beginner party 20 minute sessions - the more you do it, the more of the routines you'll learn. I've done the first beginner routine three times now and each time I learn more of the steps and enjoy it more.
