Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. Got my scale. And it works. Boy does it work! The numbers are a worse than I had hoped for, but better than I expected. At least that's something. When the scale said 441, I almost lost it. I had to think of what it might have said when I started IP 3 weeks ago or what it would say if I never started IP. I know at least now I am doing something, but it's still shocking. It's going to be a very long road, but the number on the scale will keep me motivated. I NEVER want to see that again!!
I am very happy and proud for you to take on this program. It will work and work wonders for you. You will feel great doing it once you get past the first week. Trust us when we say you will feel great, YOU WILL. Trust the plan and be faithful to the program and it will work for you. My father in law was 374 when he started back in June. He has been holding steady in the 240's now for 2 months, that was his goal for now. You can do this and we are all here to support you!

I would suggest calling them. I've thought about calling them about the smaller sized Pure Protein bars and drinks (they only have the big ones). I can find those at Target, but they are often sold out... If you do call, let me know what they say.
I emailed them yesterday and got a response back from them within an hour. They stated that they did not know WF carried a Zesty Italian and would start getting it in immediately. Should be in by next month hopefully.
I was please to see they responded so quickly and were willing to add products. I just emailed them through their contact us link.
I am so happy now, can't wait to order a case or 2 of Zesty Italian....LOL!
WI #15 for me today and I lost another 6 lbs, gone for good. It is still strange that a week and a half ago, I had my planned cheat for my birthday and consumed a lot of BEERS, this caused a significant weight gain mostly due to fluid and of course knocked me out of ketosis. According to my keto stix I am not in ketosis still. Been back on protocol 100% the day after. I feel just fine, no bad breath which I did not have this the first time in ketosis either.
Any thoughts as to why I am not in ketosis anyone? I am not too concerned, just perplexed.

I had my first consultation yesterday, and I am very excited to get started. I have about 35-40 lbs to lose. I'm Looking forward to getting my inspiration and motivation on these pages.
About me: I am a stay at home mom to seven great kids ages 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15. Being as busy as you can imagine I am, the idea of not having to think about what I'm cooking really appeals to me. I think i'll like just being able to open a package and go.
WI#15 last night and I'm done another 1.6 lbs. This is alot better than I had expected because I cheated this past weekend.

I had the same issue with my ketostix, so I stopped using them! the program was obviously still working as I (and you) continued to lose.

Good job, a loss is a loss even with a cheat. The ketostix were working just fine before my cheat. I only keep track since I use alternate products and not ones from lindora, IP, nashua, proti diet...etc. Just want to make sure its all good. Seems to be since I lost 6 this week. Great job so far. Keep it up!

Thanks, It will not effect your WI, just might effect how you feel throughout today. Just be sure to take them when you get home tonight. You will be fine, do not stress over it.
I bought tons of Easter candy for grandkids yesterday and it all made it home unopened!!!! That is a first for me.
Great job! I haven't gone out to get my kids their Easter treats yet. Waiting till the last minute so I don't have to avoid it in the house. I'm going to have to be strong after they open it though. I'm thinking of limiting the candy this year and buying more toys/clothes/books type items. Better for them and me!!

My guess would also be that the ketostix may not be reading correctly or you're drinking so much water that its affecting them. I don't think it would even be possible to drop 6 pounds if you weren't in ketosis. Keep rocking it like you do my friend!

You'll be ok, i too have taken mine late and even a few times not at all so don't sweat it. Let us know how your weigh in goes!

Sitting here at the hospital with my little man...he needs to have bloodwork and see a specialist about his horrible bloody noses. Wish us luck as he has autism and that makes everything just a bit more stressful.
Weigh in number 9 for me tomorrow morning and the first one after a week on phase 2....should be interesting. I will begin phase 3 after the weigh in and let me tell you how nervous and excited I am about it. Certainly looking forward to breakfast lol.
