Question 17 Day Diet

I am looking for info on this plan...and I can't find any posts. Can someone direct me to the right place (or...if there isn't one, give me some info)

My priest is on this and he has lost 25lbs and looks great!

Thanks!
Sarah

Red face 17 Day Diet

I am just starting the 17 Day Diet today. Looking for others to join in!! I have the book on my Kindle...thinking it would be better to have the actual book...due to needing to flip around a lot, but....I live 100 mi. from any bookstore and wanted it ASAP.

Hope others on the 17 DD or any just starting will share their journey!

Are you just starting it? Today is #1 for me....had my cup of hot water with lemon...and having a cup of black coffee (have always used cream!).

Maybe someone will see our posts and join in!! Sam

Well...maybe we should make our own support group then. I am shocked more aren't talking about it. I was going to start tomorrow.

Looking through the Amazon reviews I smell a rat. A large percentage of the 5 star reviews are written by people with one review only ... their short, not insightful review of the 17 day diet plan.

If you look at the bad reviews they all say the same thing. Nothing new here. What did they expect? The marketing claims that there is a new a revolutionary way to lose weight were accurate? There are no shortcuts.

At least to the credit of the book it does appear to make the point that you're not really on a diet you're embarking on a new lifestyle.

Red face 17 Day Diet

Hi Toni and THANK YOU for responding!!!!! So glad to hear that it's going well for you. My neighbor did the 1st 17 days and lost 15 lbs. and she really liked it. Easy to follow etc.

Seeing that you've been a member of 3 FC for awhile...is there any Forum or Support Group for the 17DD??

Just had my breakfast of 2 egg whites (added some salsa), blueberries and green tea.

Hope we get others to join in! So far it seems only you, Sarah and me!!!

Oh and if you don't want to investigate what the 17 day diet is I'll tell you since I just did.

Eat veggies, a couple servings of fruit, and lots of lean proteins. Seems to be something about a power cookie (addiitonal charge).

There are 4 17 day cycles after which you're ready to go out onto your own.

PVgal- Theres no forum for this diet here. Its only been out a short time so maybe we've started one on here. Its a really good diet and I'm learning allot from being on it. One is its a lifestyle change.

Red face 17 Day Diet

Hey Toni...I'm in if you are!!

John....the Power cookie one makes...so don't know what you mean by "additional charge". Think the Power Cookie (should one want to eat it) is a breakfast choice but not until the 2nd 17 Day Cycle.

The diet is truly not just 17 days....it's a series of 17 day cycles...that revs up one's metabolism. Nothing unhealthy with any of it...just eating more natural foods, staying away from processed foods and bad carbs. It's 3 meals a day, 2 snacks. Of course, the 1st 17 Day cycle is the most restrictive.

I had a yogurt and an orange and green tea for breakfast. I should have had a couple of eggs. But for lunch I'm going to have a taco salad so it will be filling. I still have a fruit left before 2. I've got me some nice red grapes in the drawer in the fridge. Tonight I think I'm going to make me a burger out of ground turkey breast with veggies in it. And some brussel sprouts and a salad. Next week I'll need to make me a pot of the chicken veggie soup in the book. Its so good.
