Hello everyone. Way to go on Week 12. Results later tomorrow.
No freebies used last week and two more players eliminated (wen and courtney). Sorry to see you guys go, but please remember you can still participate as unofficial members.
One more week ladies before we go purple.
Hope everyone gets off to an awesome start to week 13.
A reminder on what's going to happen next week on April 10th after the week 13 weigh in-
Bigmid will be posting the purple team chat threads through April and into May. I will be on vacation in the Philippines for the first three weeks of the purple team challenge, so any questions you have during that time please direct them to bigmid. I will rejoin the purple chat thread by the beginning of May.
So excited to see everyone's ending weigh in at the end of May.
Also, as we approach May, watch for announcements on the summer challenge and details on how you can sign up.

I gained 4lbs in the last 4 days thanks to TOM along with some indulged cravings. I've been on point for calories, but the content was not great. Lots of clean eating this week and I'm down 1 of those 4lbs today, hopefully another one by tomorrow
How is it going for everyone else with eating and exercise?
Final week...THE RED TEAM EXPRESS TRAIN pulling into the station...
Just felt it was time our train made a come back! While we might become purple for awhile, as a team we will be "done." Finished. Completed. Ended. Fulfilled. Paid the Piper. Executed. Crowned my Edifice. Departed. Coup de Grace. Jogged my last mile. fait accompli. Achieved. Brought to pass. Discharged. Stepped out. Brought to a close. Ripened. Pulled the curtain. Exhausted my stay. Brought in the Harvest. Run my course. Given the final touch. Payed the bill. Reached the goal. Crossed the finish. Fixed, Clinched, Stamped, Set, and Sealed. Went the limit. Driven Home. Seen the fire and the rain. Carried Through. Played Out. Alea iacta est. Set to Rest. Polished off. Returned from the Tour. Drank the last Sip. Brought to a head. Knocked off. Disposed of. Made good. Scored the tie-breaker. Persevered. Put to practice. Terminated. Wound up. Closed. Released. Culminated. Performed. Accomplished. Fought the last Fight. Resolved. Concluded. Nailed the coffin. Put my heart to rest. Gone the whole hog. Braved the Storm. Proved my Worth. Persisted. Died in the last ditch. Kept my Course. Plodded. Went through fire and water. Through Evil report and Good report. per fas et nefas. Waxed off. Swam Unsunken. Through Thick and Thin. Held out. Expired. Cessated. Resigned. Issued. Quit. Over with. Surrendered. Handed in my chips. Veni, vidi, vici.
My personal favorite is "gone the whole hog."
CONGRATS TO BIGGEST LOSERS SHADESOFGRAY & KRIS FOR LAST WEEK AND TO ALL LEFT STANDING! GIVE IT YOUR BEST THIS WEEK RED, LET'S GO OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY!!!!!
Congrats to Shades of Grey and the other big losers!! WTG team for winning last week's WI!
Let's finish this phase of the challenge strong and successful, Red Team. Like my favourite BL trainer always says "STAND UP AND FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED"....we'll do it together!
Shan - WTG on getting that hard-earned loss last week! It must be such a boost to see that scale reflect your hard work you've been putting in.
Angie - stick with what you've been doing all along and those 3 other pounds will melt off and take some of their little friends with them! WTG with sticking within your calories each day even if the content wasn't the best. I always struggle with not blowing my calories during TOM.
Eating seems to be back on track after a slight derail a few weeks ago. It helps that my overall mood has improved thanks to the better-late-than-never arrival of SPRING!
Exercise is going well here. The melting means that it's easier to get outside and walk/run. I have even gone for a few bike rides with my brand new bike in the last few days. There is still lots and lots of snow in the yards and ditches, but streets are clear and mostly dry. I love being able to incorporate my exercise into my daily life (i.e. DH and I biked to the grocery store for supplies for a few days on Saturday).
We take off in exactly 10 days. SO EXCITED! It's going to be a much needed break from "real life" and a nice break from work. It will be really important for us to spend time together for the 2 weeks in the Philippines. The week after we come back, the bf takes off for his one year round the world travel. I won't see him til July when I'm back home in the states (for 8 months) and then again December/January when we travel Europe together.
FITNESS FRIDAY AND LAST CHANCE WORKOUTS EVERYONE!!!!!!
Shan--good luck with all your prep and the countdown til vacation time.
As we draw to a close here, I thank you again for the time you devote to keeping the numbers!
Good luck to all on the weigh-in this coming Sunday and stay strong til 5/22!
