Thanks for posting a new thread Diana!

My goal this week is to get back down under 140. Those dang desserts this weekend got me! The plan this week is to workout 6 days per week, 3 days of cardio, 3 days of weights. Calorie wise to average 1400 (calorie cycling this week).

Let's make it an AWESOME week!

HI all, coming in to be accountable. Since I got sick last week, my eating has been off, then the last few days I've been kinda depressed, probably a combination of the stress with our house guest, being sick, wasting spring break because I was sick, and the whole allergy thing... when am I ever going to find the time to scrub the puppy dander out of the house?! Ugh! LOL. I'll survive, however, when I get depressed, I like my sweets... so, I tried to compromise, I bought one small homemade caramel, and a tiny personal size cherry pie. I split the pie with my hunny, and enjoyed the caramel. I could have eaten a whole bag of caramels, but I thought one of the really yummy ones instead of a whole bag of the processed ones.

I haven't really kept track of my calories this weekend, but I think I'm under again. I just need to get back in the swing of things...

Tomorrow will be better !!!!

Back for now. I thought my computer issues were fixed, but nope. It takes forever for the internet to come up and I'm getting the same error. Ugh.

Anyway, I've been on plan. I didn't get a workout in today unfortunately, but I did finish a really cute dress for my DD. If the weather is nice tomorrow I'll have to get some pictures of her wearing it.

I'll try to catch up on personals tomorrow. I'm totally whipped.

I've been off plan for the past week and couple days...been taking my mom around Japan for sightseeing, getting stressed out/struggling with feeling depressed and trying to put on my happy tour guide face, stuffing it down with sugar. We're back in my little town now and I feel much happier and ready to face things. Yesterday was the first not-terrible day I had in a while. Today I am hoping will go smoothly too...off to a rough start with sweets for breakfast, but I have to remember that a rough start does not equal a rough middle and a rough finish.

Krampus, I'm sorry you're having a hard time. Maybe being in a familiar place will make things easier. Did you not have a good time with you mom in Japan? Hugs to you.

Pint it must be fun to make little girl dresses. There are SO MANY cute girly fabrics. Not as easy with a boy. Probably why I do home dec stuff.

andejean Good move with the caramel. One super yummy one over a whole bag of them and sharing a dessert versus eating the whole dessert is definitely a victory.

Just did 4 miles down in the basement. I pushed myself harder tonight and got my heart rate 10 bpm higher for the average than last time. Amazing what picking up the feet a bit higher and really swinging those arms can do!

1386 Calories today which is within my plan of 1500, but I did not exactly make healthy choices today!!

Pilsbury Devils Food sugar free cake @ 220 calories
24 oz sugar free french vanilla cappucino 300 calories

The remaining calories were from healthy food choices

3 solid hours of gardening today in Spring time heat 86 degrees and very humid.

That #%&$* scale is still stuck. It has been 8 days now since my last loss. It may be caused in part because I was taken off of the two water pills I was on.

At some point even with increased water retention I shoud start losing again. HOPE!!

Larry,

Came over on cals today, like 1600 ... but I kept to 44 net carbs... and I DID hike 6.5 miles and walk 2... so maybe I burned more cals then usual?

Krampus: I've been wondering how you've been! And you're positively right, a rough start means nothing!

Berry: The outfit I made her was a bubble-dress/tank top and shorts. It was a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but it turned out so sweet looking. I'm getting ready to make my DD and DS some summer play clothes with some extra fabric I have laying around. We're trying to save $$. Plus, this way, the kids can pick out the fabric and take part in it!

Larry: Don't fret! You've been zooming along like a freight train! Soon enough you'll see a whoosh. You're doing great!

I thought I was going to be able to hit the sheets, but I got distracted with laundry, LOL.

Good Morning! I hope everyone has a wonderful on plan day!

Andejean I just noticed that you and I are the same height. What body shape are you? I see you are wanting to get to 135 and you are the same weight now that I am going to try for. I don't think I could never pull off 135! We all have different body shapes and bone structures, though.

Morning everyone! Not a good start to Monday as my teenager is going to be late getting to school as he couldn't wake up. It's only Monday -not a good sign for the week!

Sleep was elusive for me last night for some reason. I think I finally settled down around 2 am. Exercising hard until 10:30 pm probably didn't help with that.

Scale keeps moving, that's good.

Have a good day everyone! Down .4 this morning.

Good morning, everyone!

I've been away for awhile - I got discouraged and embarrassed by the amount I was eating, so I didn't post. But I still really need the accountability. I'm not sure if my body is telling me that it's had enough, that it's time to stop the weight loss, or if I've hit some sort of plateau. Anyhow my weight is exactly the same now as when I joined in early March - 143.6.

Anyways, yesterday was a good day - I kept the calories to about 1800, and I biked for an hour, and that burned about 600 calories. Yay!

Diana: thanks for starting a new thread.
LindsayLou: you and I have similar stats, and you have been doing so well...way to go!

I'll check in tonight.
